Relocation guide, the places

Nine towns, one valley, a town for every life.

The Treasure Valley is really a string of distinct towns, each with its own pace, schools, and price point. This is our honest town-by-town introduction for relocating families. We keep it to character and school districts, because those are the things that stay true, and we always verify the current inventory and pricing when you are ready to look.

Lighter coverage

The smaller surrounding towns

Five smaller communities round out the valley and show up in a lot of home searches. They get lighter coverage because they suit a narrower slice of relocators, but each one has a real character worth knowing.

Garden City: Across the river from downtown Boise, split between the Boise and West Ada districts

Emmett: Orchard town in Gem County on the Payette River, with its own countywide district

Greenleaf: Quaker-founded hamlet near Caldwell with the Greenleaf Friends Academy

Homedale: Ag town on the Snake River in Owyhee County, gateway to the Owyhees

Wilder: Quiet farm town west of Greenleaf with its own small district

Town character is a general picture, not a promise, and every town contains many different neighborhoods. School district assignments follow official district boundary maps and should be confirmed for each address. We also cover nearby areas in the wider Treasure Valley, so ask us if your target is just off this list.

Not sure between Meridian and Eagle? Good, that is exactly our job.

We have helped families from across the country land in every one of these towns. Tell us your commute, your budget, your schools, and your pace, and we will point you at the two or three that fit before you ever get on a plane.
